RANT: WordPress Plugins That Don’t Include Changelogs
This has bothered me for a long time and I finally decided to blog about it. I run multiple sites with dozens of plugins so it seems I am installing plugin updates. The first thing I do before I install an update is verify that my hourly database backup ran then click on the plugin “version details.” It seems lately that the majority either don’t have a changelog tab, don’t maintain their changelog or worse make me go to their site and dig through comments, forums or blog posts on a quest to find out what changed. When I update a plugin I WANT TO KNOW WHAT CHANGED! Plugin authors stop making it so hard to find out what changed!
