Enough is enough.

I am already paying 99 cents for songs on iTunes and frankly, that’s too much. When you do the math, an iPod Nano (see my earlier post) holds 1,000 songs. At 99 cents a song that’s equal to a little less than $1,000 to fill it. I don’t have $1,000 to spend on music. It is cheaper to buy the album from a brick-and-mortar music store and now the music industry is trying to raise the prices. Thankfully Apple CEO Steve Jobs has come out and told it like it is. Jobs told reporters at an event in Paris “If the price goes up they (consumers) will begin pirating again and everybody loses.“

“If the price goes up they (consumers) will begin pirating again and everybody loses.”

The music industry needs to wake up and stop raping pillaging their listeners. If you want people to stop pirating get the price down to 25 cents. At that price it only makes sense to buy.
